Maldives welcoming tourists as border reopens today!

The Maldives has reopened its borders, and lifted travel restrictions imposed due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Qatar Airways landed at 0825 in the morning and Maldives welcomed the first batch of tourists after a 4 month long travel ban.

The government has laid out necessary safety travel guidelines to be followed by arriving guests and tourist facilities. Velana International Airport is ready with all necessary precautions to ensure utmost safety to all travelers.

30 resorts are prepared to welcome guests from today.
